WIC Project Fresh

WIC Project FRESH was created by the Farmers Market Nutrition Program and currently operates in Michigan through the Michigan Department of Community Health.

WIC Project FRESH is an educational program that provides participants with coupons to purchase locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables at the Farwell Farmers Market.

Senior Market Fresh

Senior Market FRESH, formerly known as the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program, provides older adults who qualify with unprocessed, Michigan-grown products.

How it works: Qualified older adult participants receive coupons that can be used to purchase Michigan-grown produce. To find out more about this free program, seniors in Clare County can call Clare County Senior Services at 989-539-8870 or email Carol Majewski at majewskic@clareco.net.
